2. Create a one sentence vision statement that captures your vision.
- Example: I want to live a simpler, more abundant life with less stuff, and have time for more fun, learning and experiences.
3. Plan backwards.
Pretend you are living your best clutter-free life right now.
- What actions did you take to accomplish that?
- What decisions did you have to make along the way?
- What changes in your habits and behaviors had to occur?
- How did you shift your mindset to let go of your unneeded and unwanted possessions?
- What help did you receive along the way to assist you with purging?
- What lessons did you learn that you can apply in the future?
4. Now, plan forward.
Create your roadmap, keeping your vision at the forefront of your planning.
- Goals: long-term and short-term
- Timeline to accomplish goals
- Action steps each week
- Milestones
- Team members required to reach goals
