If you want to enjoy a purposeful journey, you need to take action. The simple act of waking up each day, focused on moving closer to your goals, will inspire happiness and fulfillment in your daily life.

When you wake up each morning on fire because you love what you do, it changes everything. It means that your purpose, your skills, your gifts, and your resources are aligned and that your actions have meaning.

Whether you are 27 or 72 here are the 4 top 10 tips to start fulfilling on your bucket list and create a life you love:

  1. Live your bucket list. What does that mean? Am I supposed to take a once-in-a-lifetime journey every day?! No, that would be crazy.  What we mean is take an inspired action every day towards your bucket list.  As mentioned above your bucket list should not only be filled with incredible destinations to get to but also with small, attainable goals that you can achieve daily – if you prioritize your time right.

For example, your bucket list may include taking a leisurely walk daily.  This can be done around your neighborhood or at a local park.  Also keep in mind it may not always look like what you think it will.  This may mean you walk 15 minutes one day and 45 the next but the point is you are keeping the commitment you made to yourself about taking a leisurely walk daily.

  1. Make faster decisions. Are we saying make impulsion decisions and don’t think about things.  No, we are not.  What we are saying is think about the hours you spend laboring over what’s for dinner or should I call this person back – those are all decisions that can happen in a split second if you let them.  You will be amazed how making quick decisions opens up your day and once those decisions get quicker so will big ticket items, like where to take your next adventure.

  1. Partner Up. Everything is better with a friend!  Whether your partner is your spouse, your colleague, your children, or your best friend – having someone to hold you to account for the actions you say you will take makes all the difference.  Plus, it’s fun to have a buddy to tackle your dreams together and support one another.

  1. Plan your adventures like an investment. This is for all the marbles! The ultimate investment you can make in yourself is planning for the future.  The essence of a Good Life is to do what you want, with who you want, when you want.  Just as you built your 401(k) you can build your way up to once-in-a-lifetime dream destination vacations.  All it takes is commitment, accountability, and inspiration.
